Sinn Féin MEPs to hold European Parliament press conference on potential for peace process

Sinn Féin MEPs Bairbre de Brún and Mary Lou McDonald will today hold a press conference at the European Parliament this afternoon, to brief the European media regarding the potential for the peace process in Ireland. The press conference will be held in light of the IRA’s historic announcement to verifiably dispose of its weaponry.

The press conference will be held at 1.30pm Irish time. (2.30pm Strasbourg time).
