EU peace report in Irish to be voted on in Strasbourg - de Brún

After submitting a report to the European Parliament on the EU-funded PEACE programme which received overwhelming support in the parliament's Regional Development committee, Sinn Féin MEP Bairbre de Brún has welcomed the forthcoming vote on the report by the whole parliament on Tuesday, following a debate in the plenary session in Strasbourg today Ms de Brún's report on an evaluation of the PEACE programme and strategies for the future will be the first European Parliament report to be voted in Irish (as Gaeilge).
