Sinn Fein MEP calls for Spanish Government to Release Inaki de Juana

Basque political prisoner Inaki de Juana has been on hunger strike since August 7th. Having served 18 years in prison he was due to be released in October 2004. However folowing the publication of a number of articles in the daily newspaper Gara, in which de Juana outlined his support for the Basque independence movement he has been accused and convicted of 'supporting terrorism'. As a conequence he has received an additional sentence of 90 years in jail. View More
